Rust Pro is an oil-dispersed, thixotropic, all-purpose rust and corrosion inhibitor. It provides up to 5 years of protection in indoor storage and 2-3 years outdoors on carbon steel and other exposed metal or painted surfaces, including in high-salt environments. Major oil and gas companies use it in their stack-out programs and for pipe protection.

Because it is thixotropic, Rust Pro becomes fluid when agitated, so the protective film is self-healing. Once on the part it sets to a semi-solid, which reduces drips and runoff. It contains no harmful solvents or chlorine and is easily removed with an alkaline cleaner.

USE RUST PRO:

• On parts exposed to salt spray environments
• When parts will be in long-term storage or transportation
• When maximum protection against corrosion is required

APPLICATION:

Apply undiluted for maximum protection by airless spray, brush, roller or dip. Target film thickness is 2 mils. When dipping, keep the tank agitated so the product stays fluid and completely coats all surfaces.

• Airless sprayer: approx. 450 sq. ft. per gallon
• Paint roller: approx. 600 sq. ft. per gallon
